Policy Change effective December 15, 2011
Facilities must obtain a Return Authorization Number (RA#) from Byrrd for a return to be processed.

To receive an RA, facilities are to provide Byrrd a written list of merchandise to return for approval.
Byrrd merchandise is guaranteed returnable for store credit if returned within 2 years from the date of purchase. Some exceptions may/may not apply as follows:
- Special Orders/Customer Requests
- Store Promotions that are NOT sponsored by Byrrd.
- Unit Bulk Sales
All damaged merchandise should be returned to Byrrd within 7 days of receipt for replacement or store credit.
RETURN/MARKDOWN GUIDANCE
- Outside of POG updates, stores must obtain a RA from Byrrd to process a store credit
- Stores are required to provide a written list of CRC and book titles, along with the reason for return.
- Cost of shipping returns to Byrrd Warehouse is the responsibility of the store processing return.
- Merchandise discrepancies or damaged/defective merchandise caused by damaged cartons must be reported to Byrrd Claims Dept within 48 hours of receipt of merchandise.
- Please include any supporting pictures of damaged cartons.
